Journey into Tasmania's Photographic Paradise:
Begin with two nights at the Bay of Fires, chasing sunrise over fiery orange boulders and shooting long-exposure seascapes along hidden beaches. Then settle in for three nights on the wild northwest coast at Stanley — photograph the dramatic Nut, capture coastal sunsets, and spend a day exploring the ancient Tarkine, where mossy rainforests and silky waterfalls create endless compositions. Finally, journey inland for two nights at Cradle Mountain. Here you’ll greet the dawn at Dove Lake, wander alpine trails, frame waterfalls, and finish with astrophotography under a sky alive with stars.

Brief Itinerary & Photo Galleries
DAY 1 to DAY 8- Explore, capture, and immerse yourself in untamed beauty of Tasmania.
Day 1
Meet your new friends in Launceston for a morning tour briefing, then journey east on a scenic drive to the Bay of Fires, where a coastal sunset awaits.
Day 2
Begin the day with sunrise at Binalong Bay, then set off on a coastal safari discovering hidden beaches, fiery rocks, and dramatic seascapes.
Day 3
Travel along Tasmania’s north coast to Stanley, then capture a breathtaking coastal sunset beneath the shadow of The Nut.
Day 5
Experience the Tarkine with rainforest trails, fungi, and waterfalls by day before a rugged Tarkine coast sunset shoot.
Day 6
Enjoy a scenic drive to Cradle Mountain, photographing three stunning waterfalls along the way, before ending the day beneath the stars with an astro shoot over Cradle.
Day 7
Begin with sunrise at Dove Lake, then explore Cradle Mountain’s trails and hidden gems on short walks, before returning for a glowing alpine sunset over the peaks.
Day 4
Capture sunrise at Stanley beneath the iconic Nut, then wander to the cascading beauty of Dip Falls before exploring hidden beaches and wild seascapes.
Day 8
We journey back to Launceston and share our goodbyes, wrapping up an unforgettable Tasmanian adventure.

Luke Tscharke
I'm Luke Tscharke (pronounced "Shar key"), a landscape photographer based in Hobart, Tasmania. A big part of what I love is the process: planning, returning, reading the weather and seasons, and being there when conditions finally line up. Out in the field, I'm trying to make the most honest, beautiful photograph I can, and do the place justice. If the finished image lets someone else feel even a small part of what it was like to be there, that's a bonus.

John Adams
With 25 years as a professional photographer John is experienced and super passionate about photography and sharing his photography skills and experiences with others.
Whether it be capturing the milky way, a thunderstorm that is literally lighting up the night sky or a crazy good sunset, John’s your man. John started Adventure Art Photography to inspire others to experience that same creative learning though photography adventures.
John lives in the Adelaide Hills with his wife Alicia and 2 sons who also enjoy there photography.
John would love to meet you on an adventure soon. :)
